30 Hour Famine | Youth Event February 7-8 | 6pm Friday-7pm Saturday | Arcadia Church, Events and Sports, 108 South Olive Street, Arcadia IN 46030 30 Hour Famine is a nationwide event to raise money and awareness for the impoverished people of the world who go without adequate food everyday. During the 30 Hour Famine, students 6th to 12th grade will get a crash course in global hunger by going 30 hours without food. We’ll provide loads of activities in this event to help make the Famine a life-changing experience. Students will fast from food for 30 hours and only drink water and juice. They will also participate in a community service project Saturday morning. The fast begins February 7th, 12pm after your student eats lunch at school, then we meet at 6pm for activities and there is a break-the-fast meal February 8th, 6pm. ALL parents are invited to the meal to break the fast with your students. *If your student does not desire to do the fast, but still wishes to participate in the event there will be food provided for each meal.* For more information, contact Ian Wray | youth@indyvineyard.org
